Secured Credit Cards: Establishing a Path for New Immigrants

To achieve the American dream, immigrants must be able to access credit to weather financial shocks and pursue opportunity, yet limited options currently exist for immigrants to easily enter the U.S. credit mainstream. Secured credit cards can be an effective way to build U.S. credit history and thereby access affordable credit products and fully benefit from inclusion in the U.S. financial system.
